31th Annual Spin-In

The Bishop Hill Fiber Guild's 30th Annual Spin-In will be held on October 15, 2011

Black Hawk College - East Campus    26680 N 100th Avenue   Galva, IL  61434

Join us for a day of fiber workshops, a wide variety of vendors, viewer's choice display & awards, door prizes, and friendly conversation in North Central Illinois

If you prefer to not participate in workshops but, instead, want to spend the day spinning or knitting, we have set aside space in the “Guild Room” for you to do just that.  Bring your wheel, drop spindle, and / or fiber project and plan to enjoy the day with like-minded persons in the Spin / Knit / or Whatever Circle while spinning, knitting, crocheting, hooking, etc.

You will have time to shop, too...so....bring your list!  Your favorite vendors will be here with a wide selection of merchandise to fill your fiber and equipment needs and/or to answer any questions you may have.  Door prizes will be drawn throughout the day, so come early and stay late!!  You must be present to win door prizes!

Registration Form print out and mail in for pre-registration.  The surest way to get lunch is to pre-register!

Workshops and Presenters

We are offering a variety of workshops again and they are so interesting we think you will have a difficult task deciding which two workshops to take!  Workshops are 1 hour, 15 minutes in length…enough time, we think, to learn a new technique; perfect an old one; and / or ask lots of questions!  Registration to attend will not guarantee you a place in any specific workshop, but we will do our best to ensure you attend the workshop(s) of your choice.

Viewer's Choice Award

Please bring items you have created to display for others to see! We will provide beans to every attendee for voting with, and the most votes win in each category.  Let us see your wonderful fiber work and maybe go home with a ribbon or rosette!  See the entry form for the categories and feel free to fill the form out ahead of time to bring with you.
